"Vertical..."
...is the name of the student ministry at Leawood East. Vertical Ministries exists to REACH students, GROW them in Christ, CONNECT them with other students, teach them to SERVE, and to EXPRESS their love for God.
Vertical is where friends, fun, and faith come together. We want to create a community of students who seek to love Jesus and develop authentic relationships with each other.
We try to blend excitement, fun, and a genuine desire to grow in the Lord into an atmosphere where students will feel accepted. We also provide great activities, such as Youth Choir, Drama Team, summer camps, retreats, lock-ins, and mission trips.
Join us for Bible Study Fellowship each Sunday morning at 9:15am to learn valuable truths from God’s Word to help you deal with the issues you face today. You’ll also meet students just like you who are challenged each week to live out their faith.
Each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm we gather for our Vertical Youth Worship, led by our student Praise Band. A drama team performs relevant skits, and we share a message from the Bible that you can relate to.
