Women's Ministry

The Women’s Ministry of Leawood East is designed to reach women for Christ and mature them in their faith; to encourage and support women through prayer, Bible study, and discipleship; and to support the entire mission of our church.   

Sewing classes meet at 6:00pm Monday evenings in the Fellowship Hall. If you are in high school or a grandmother (or anywhere in between), and would like to learn how to sew, join us! We've begun by learning how to sew on buttons, do straight stitching, and how to hem. Along the way, you will also learn the significance of being a "knotted ruby".
