Men's Ministry
The Men’s Ministry of Leawood East is designed to reach men for Christ and mature them in their faith. They participate in several special events throughout the year, including breakfast fellowships, mission trips, and special events.
Wildnerness Disciples - Fellowship for Christian Outdoorsmen
Wilderness Disciples is a new LEBC men's ministry, with the goal of providing a Christian atmosphere for hunters, fishermen, and outdoorsmen to share their love of the outdoors and Jesus Christ.
Leawood East hosts meetings and outings throughout the year. You're welcome to bring along your sons, grandsons, nephews, and neighbors!
On Thursday evening, September 9, at 6:30pm, there will be a Wilderness Disciples' Rendezvous in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone will bring something to eat--from wild game to wild berry pie--to share with your fellow disciples. Bring your used hunting and fishing clothes & equipment to trade, barter, or give away to a needing disciple. Bring blankets and stake some ground to display your goods. Bring your "tallest tales" to compete for great prizes. We'll share a fun evening sharing pre-season strategies, mentoring younger hunters, and sharing God's Word.
