DiscipleLife
Our discipleship ministry is known as DiscipleLife.
It is designed to encourage, teach, and guide you into a deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. The development of your personal walk with Jesus is the reason we offer specialized short-term classes on various topics to accommodate you in your walk. In addition to Sunday and Wednesday evenings, classes are also offered throughout the week.
Spring 2012 DiscipleLife Classes
The Mom2Mom Bible study meets on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. in Room 400. Jamie Stilgenbauer will be facilitating a Bible study of Karol Ladd's popular book The Power of a Positive Mom. The book offers seven time-tested principles that will help you become the mom you've always wanted to be. Books will be available for purchase during group meetings.
On Sunday afternoons at 5:00pm in Room 402, Teresa Pinckley leads a Women's Bible Study guided by Priscilla Shirer's book The Resolution for Women. See Teresa Pinckley to register for the class. Books will be available for purchase during group meetings.
All men are invited to participate in our Men's Bible Study, meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm in Room 402. The group is currently studying The Resolution for Men, by Randy Alcorn and Alex Kendrick. The Resolution for Men is the inspiring book born out of Courageous, a film by the makers of Fireproof. The movie, which presents a powerful story of strong male leadership, is an emotionally charged wake-up call to fathers whose influence upon their children and society is immeasurable. The Resolution for Men challenges men of all ages to become as bold and intentional about embracing their responsibilities as leaders of their homes, marriages, and children.
Would you like to be better equipped to share your faith in Christ? A situational evangelism class, led by Chad Beaumont, meets on Sundays at 5:00pm in Room 312. The class includes Bible studies on sharing your faith, methods for sharing your faith, and opportunities to share about your witnessing experiences.
